Thursday, June 3, 2021 - Garnet in color, so heavy almost like a Syrah upon opening. With air, damn, Cros P magic. Such fineness, intricate layers and layers of opulent spice, red/dark fruit, woody touch, slight oak, but all in perfect balance and just so attractive. Huge wine really, bigger-than-most-Richebourg structure if that makes sense. Every new glass offers more flavors, in another layer, in another dimension, one berry here, another there. Pure precision on the palate, especially for a generally overripe vintage. 95+
