Sunday, August 3, 2008 - Color....Garnet and not inky as the write ups suggest. possibly even a bit thin in depth. Nose....pepper, beef jerky, pickles, and fairly strong...albeit pleasant. Tatse...citrus, tart, highly acidic, no real depth, but a long finish.
In its piece parts not very impressive but not undrinkable and it has its merits. For those whose like Garnacha or lighter reds this may actually work for you.
If you are into big over extracted wines full of fruit then avoid as this wine requires some mental processing to enjoy its flavors. Its a good $8 table wine.
