Saturday, November 9, 2013 - The wine is a clear deep purple with a garnet rim and staining legs.

The nose is clean and pronounced. The wine is developing and consists of aromas of succulent and almost baked plum, blueberry, blackberry, blackcurrant with sweet tobacco, cedar/cigar box, vanilla, clove, allspice, nutmeg, leather and a beautifully integrated chocolate.

The wine is dry, medium plus silky tannins, medium acid, medium plus alcohol and body. The palate confirms the nose leading with sweet tobacco, chocolate, and baked plum/blueberry. The wine is succulent really well balanced. I would drink this now, though it could probably last a few more years.
