Wednesday, September 2, 2009 - Fill was into the neck; popped and poured. A pretty purple-red core, turning to red at the rim; no signs of amber. Heavenly bouquet of ripe dark fruits (cassis and blackberry) with notes of black truffle, herbs, forrest flooer and earth. Medium to full bodied, with a wonderfully lush and velvety mid-palate; a touch of tannins (ripe tannins) that still need to be resolved, but a very pleasurable wine to drink. Should continue to evolve for years.
