Sunday, February 6, 2022 - Disgorged 2018. Sweet-tart flavors. Fruity but very dry. Opens up to lemon-lime candies, powdered chalk, and a lingering lime pith note. There’s a faint biscuit note like a water cracker and white chocolate. It’s saline, but the predominant impression is of lemon-lime candy. Not the most complex Champagne out there, but a lovely aperitif. Pairs well with roasted vegetables.
