12% (Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Petit Versot)
from the old vineyards Puente Alto and Pirque Viejo at the foot of
the Andes Mountains in the Maipo Valley at ~570 m with stony,
gravelly alluvial soils and vines planted in 1987-2004.
De-stemmed. Fermented in closed stainless steel tanks at 26°C-28°C.
Spontaneous malolactic.
Aged 18 months in French barrels and wooden vats (28% new, rest 2nd use).
14.5% Abv.

History: Concha y Toro’s founded in 1883 by Melchor Concha y Toro.
Now the largest producer and exporter of wines from Latin America
with more than 10,000 hectares of vineyards in Chile, Argentina and
the United States producing 16+ brands in Chile alone.
The Master Edition is made at the Puente Alto Cellar.
Winemaker: Isabel Mitarakis.

A(ccuray)=2: Med deep ruby. Juicy creamy varietal.
B(alance)=2: Fresh fruit with adequate structure.
C(omplexity)=2: Berries, bell pepper, vanilla, licorice.
D(epth)=1: Lifted mouthfeel. Even palate and finish.
