Thursday, February 15, 2024 - Tasted at Wine & Spirits Top 100 NYC. Aged in 22% new American oak, 14.8% ABV. Fruit forward but with bright acidity and a slate-like mineral undertone. Mostly boysenberry and blackberry to me. Some dark florals/violets as well. Needs time in a cool cellar. Probably best between its 5th and 15th birthdays.
