Friday, October 27, 2023 - Pale straw color. Explosive bouquet of citrus, minerals, lemongrass, gooseberry. Beautiful bracing acidity. Explosive flavors of citrus, minerals, slate, saltiness, lemongrass, gooseberry. Long acidic finish. This is just absolutely delicious. Excellent qpr. 12.5% abv. Very different from his Pouilly Fume stylistically speaking even though both are excellent. Drinks beautiful now but with this kind of acidity it probably has staying power. And absolute fantastic example of Sancerre. A must try.
