Thursday, June 27, 2019 - From magnum. A bit of discolouration around the rim - still quite dark core. Ripe and quite sweet on the nose, notes of candied fruit, spices, sweet tobacco, smoke. On the palate really well balanced and smooth. Ripe but with good acidity, very spicy, good length. New world certainly, but different - lots of character. Drinking well. 91-93
