Wednesday, April 10, 2024 - After decanting for roughly 6 hours, this Cab offered a bouquet of ripe blackberries and currants, along with subtle hints of dark chocolate and cedar. There's an elegant interplay between fruitiness and earthiness, with graphite and tobacco nuances.

The wine has a velvety texture and a beautiful mouthfeel with a long finish. The flavors of black cherry and plum dominate, accompanied by layers of baking spices and vanilla from well-integrated oak aging.

This is a wine that demands attention and rewards contemplation, destined to evolve gracefully with time in the cellar. I’m anxious to see how this evolves in the bottle.
