Thursday, February 1, 2024 - The essence of chianti and sangiovese. A charming nose of black cherries, leather and a bit of smoked ham, with some primary, purple fruit still present. Just a touch of oak in the background. Airy, unforced in texture, but grippy and pleasantly angular on the finish, as it should be. Raw, untamed, real sangiovese. I love it. Ready to drink.
