Wednesday, November 5, 2014 - Medium dark colour with a distinct tawny hue.
Black cherry, plums, rich earthy spice, has a lovely rich warmth. Smooth and lingering fragrance.
Smooth, light to medium weight with well balanced acidity and a fine long finish. Delicious black cherry and plum fruits, well rounded, plump, with a lovely dark spice undercurrent. Has a little of the new world big fruit style despite coming from Tasmania, granted a warmish site there. Also has some sweet cherry stone zest. Finishes very clean, quite supple. Worth keeping another 3-5 at least.
