Does not like this wine:

Friday, February 6, 2015 - Well whatever may have been here at one time has faded behind substantial tannin. Some washed out fruit, a half-mouthful of acid and lots of gritty tannins on the finish. I guess most Wash cabs have a shorter shelf-life than Cali or Bordeaux versions. I would drink up or save for a couple of years and hope it is going through a dumb phase. But I don't think it will recover. Drink now.

Charm in relative youth is a bonus to WA although global climate change may make WA the Bordeaux of 2055.

2/8/2015 11:16:00 AM - That's simply an argument for drinking them earlier. I've drunk lots of Wa and Seven Hills in particular and spoken with Casey several times and his website puts a 10-15 year window on it. This is on me, I should have drunk it two or three years back. Regardless, anyone holding this bottle may want to check in on it.
