Saturday, October 21, 2023 - Fabulous nose to start: blackberry leaves, brown sugar and a whiff of menthol. In the mouth, the berries explode, nicely in balance with acids and ultra smooth, but slightly drying tannins. It’s not rich, rather invigorating. The finish is salvia inducing, seemingly forever. Fresh enough after 13 years to indicate plenty of life left. Unfortunately, this is our last.
