Saturday, March 30, 2024 - Next to the 2008 this is noticeably more syrupy. Quite a surprise. Alongside some classic aged character. Green tobacco and cigar box mixed.
Tannins are more obvious, less rounded than the 2008.
Altogether a more exciting wine, though it I expect it will be under-appreciated by most.
