Monday, August 17, 2009 - Bought this in advance of going to the Felsina winery in October. Obviously a very young wine. Tasted at opening with absolutely no nose and a metallic taste. Decanted in the cellar for 6 hours and some fruit on the nose was evident. This wine actually had a better quality to it after it came up from 55 degrees to room temp. Drank the second half of the bottle the next day and it had opened nicely with dark fruit on the nose with earthy qualities. Finish was nice. This wine should improve with a few more years under its belt.
