Sunday, May 16, 2010 - Bautiully dark with light rims. This wine needs some time to open. At the first sip nothing special - simple - but after some time its complex sangiovese aromas appear. Nose: cherries - later ash plus violets. Taste: very balsamic, with only some accidity. I appreciate this wine but prefer the other face of chianti.
