89 Points

Thursday, January 29, 2009 - Browning around the edge, translucent Translucent but the color of Georgia red clay. On the nose chanterelle mushrooms, tea rose, bridal boquet (dried but not like a marriage gone bad more like a marriage mellowed), sweet spice. Easy on the palate, not deep, but lingering pleasant memories of ginger, cinnamon, queen anne cherries, kumquat peels, and nuit st. george dust.
