Wednesday, November 19, 2014 - Opened at Lacha Somtum in Thai Town, Hollywood, CA on 11/19/14. Enjoyed with catfish papaya salad, tamarind fish soup and grilled beef. I was absolutely not prepared for how magnificent this bottle would be. For the price (reg. $50 on sale for $25 at K&L), I can honestly say this was the best bargain bottle I ever purchased. I opened it 1.5 hours prior to drinking which turned out to be ideal. Lots of blackberry and pepper, but not a powerhouse. This was better than a few $100+ Syrahs I've tried recently. Very, very nice.
