Tuesday, December 26, 2023 - Drank at the Pollacks for xmas eve. This is my last bottle, and this wine remains in very good shape, surprisingly. Nose has a pleasant nose of black fruit, some tar and still aromas of vanilla. Medium bodied, showing a lot of bricking at the edges of my glass, Still a solid fruit level--cassis and blackberry --along with some very nice complexity--notes of tobacco, tar, cedar with spice. Tannins are fully resolved. Well-balanced cab that definitely benefited from years in the cellar.
