Wednesday, July 20, 2011 - A big and heavy wine, this showed a succulent nose of overwrought flowers and syrup - on the palate it was not terribly elegant but rich and port-like. It improved in the glass over the night, putting on muscle and losing some fat. In the end it was a nice wine but a bit strange to figure out.
