Monday, June 12, 2017 - Brown color with a bouquet and flavor of grilled meat with unbalanced tannin and acidity. Very unpleasant, but possibly flawed as the wine was cellared pre-Katrina, so I will withhold judgment and mark the bottle flawed, although most of my pre-Katrina wines were not noticeably harmed. I have had no great success with Barolo wines, and have not found any that I have liked.
