Sunday, August 9, 2020 - Extraordinary for a 48 year old wine. was not expecting it still to be alive and it was. Garnet colour, not oxidised fruit still going, amazing. Probably a once in a lifetime experience. Medium bodied red and black fruit, plenty of forest floor, the complexity of the years, shortish on the finish as often the case with really old wines.
It was marked as 1 Pint 6 Fl Oz - which is the same as 75cl and under St Henri was marked "Claret". Fascinating and still drinking well.
