Pretty well balanced, didn't get any alcohol heat (bottle has 14.5% which is reasonable for CdP) and oak is perfect as a support act. Really needs plenty of air to settle down and this looks to have its best days ahead. At this stage, the 2005 VT I had a little while ago was marginally ahead of this bottle but think it could be a different story down the track.
