Sunday, April 16, 2017 - Decanted and poured, this wine gave an excellent showing. The bouquet shows a blend of youthful and maturing notes. The color is a dark tarnished ruby that is appropriate for the wines age. The medium / full bodied palate shows balance and length with fading youthful elements and developing maturing notes. The fruit is rich but not overtly dominating. The wine benefits from decanting. It is at or around its peak.
