for whatever reason this bottle showed poorly compared to previous bottles from the same case.

The wine is still very drinkable with a solid core of red fruits and garrigue on the palate- however it lacked aromatic complexity, "zip" on the palate and the finish was medium at best.

I will chalk this up to an off bottle.

Also- I recently tasted 2007 Beaucastel and Pegau Reservee and they were both far superior to this bottle.
