Saturday, January 5, 2013 - A good drinking, ripe and juicy wine. The nose features ripe pinot fruit with a deep bass undertone of clove-like spice. The mouthfeel is soft but formless as the wine has little tannin, though adequate acidity keeps it from flabbiness. Ripe and sweet fruit dominate the palate with a medium-length cola finish. An identical wine with more structure would be worth a higher score.
