Likes this wine:

Friday, December 25, 2020 - Drunk over Christmas' lunch and opened a few hours in advance. It needed more.
The red color is fading towards orange/brick, but still there. Clear, but with quite a bit of sediment at the bottom. On the nose it had some musty notes for the first few hours. The leftovers on day 2 were much better and showed still some red fruit, together with undergrowth and sweet spices like lebkuchen. On the palate it is still lively and with good body. Fruit is still there. The last sips had a bitter finish.
Surprisingly nice, but it seems to me that to enjoy this at its best one should devote a whole day to it, open it in the morning and follow its evolution during the day to pick the best moment and decant it to separate the sediment just before finally drinking it.
