Sunday, August 30, 2020 - My last bottle from this vintage, and thankfully a good showing after a decidedly lackluster one three years ago. It’s still not a wine for acid freaks, but it is finely balanced now that some of the youthful fat has backed away. Ripe peaches and pineapple are layered over river rocks and iron filings, creating a solid core that fades to an ethereal finish. I wish it had a little more zip, but with a spicy green curry it was a lovely drink.
