Monday, January 12, 2015 - Breathed around 45 minutes before serving. Dark garnet in the glass with a light ruby rim. The nose is a beautiful, heady mix of dark red fruit & allspice. Medium to full bodied. The fruit here is rich & sweet. A ripe vintage, this is still in the process of shedding baby fat. Spicy notes accent the long mid palate & silky tannins add complexity to the total package. Great finish w/ a tart edge which adds refreshment & brings you back to the glass.
