Tuesday, November 12, 2013 - Please give it at least a couple hours in the decanter or 30 minutes in the glass to open up. This is certainly a very well made wine that really shows the class and elegance that the Eisele can produce. It's all about detail and complexity...relative to Napa standards. Lovely blueberry, boysenberry, lavender, charcoal, violets and minerality. Medium to full body. Very fine tannins on the minerally blueberry filled finish. It should continue to age nicely for several years. 2nd bottle with consistent notes.
