Saturday, July 11, 2015 - An elegant, restrained, and complex Cabernet. Garnet in color, medium in body, nose of blackberry and gravel. Layered tastes of black cherry, graphite, and licorice, with a dusty but (pleasantly) lingering finish. 14.8% alcohol, though tastes like it could be lower. Very classy - it doesn't reach for big fruit, but it doesn't have to: it's beautiful just the way it is.
