Tuesday, June 21, 2016 - Bottled in 2015. Transparent bright red color. Pomegranate, wild flower, cranberry, candied cherry and some white pepper aromas. The nose reminds me of Domaine Drouhin's Dundee Hills Pinot noir 2013 even though the palate is somewhat different from it. As their basic wine, it is dilute, simple but clean, pure on the palate. What we can expect more goodness from this Vin de France class? Beautiful easy drinking wine. Especially if you are seeking alternative of Pinot noir or delicate Cotes du Rhone for daily wine at around 15$. A common wine of the master craftman, Sabon, from Chateauneuf du Pape. Alc. 13.5% (My score based on QPR)
