Wednesday, June 10, 2020 - The weight of this wine is evidenced by the way, upon entering the mouth, it forces itself to the front of the mouth. it leaves the back of the mouth unaffected. it's all about tannin I guess. There is no "coating" going on however. Some length but this is dominated by the alcohol on the tongue. Should have drunk this a few years ago; drying out now. Pleasant but lean and angular.
