Monday, July 4, 2011 - Decanted for an hour before tasting. Medium ruby core, orange rim. Port-like nose with hints of strawberries, raisins, leather and spices – very distinctly Musar. Sweet fruit and spices dominate the palate. Nice viscosity and smooth, velvety tannins. Good concentration and length. High marks on the “delicious scale”, but lacks a little acidity to balance out the sweetness when paired with food.
