Wednesday, March 2, 2016 - Cloudy ruby with garnet at the edges. On the nose, layers of blackberry, menthol, cumin, with a whisper of oak. Not complex on the palate but balanced and with a pure expression of juice, slightly stewed, commensurate acid, tannins integrated and rolling out smoothly at the end. It has the clarity and balance that comes with age. 50 + 16 + 17 + 9.
