Monday, September 6, 2021 - The vintage 2001 is my second experience with Chateau Musar. My first bottles is 1998. Both have the similar characteristics. The body is light and smooth texture. It looks transparent ruby colored and brown on the rim. Big leather, tobacco and smoky nose. The tastes like oak, cherry, figs, cinnamon and sweet plums. The wine has low acidity but very balance. The flavor is very complex, beautiful fruits. What an interesting wine.
