Sunday, May 21, 2006 - Dinner(s) with friends; 5/21/2006-5/22/2006 (Northern Ohio): Surprisingly youthful color. A red fruit nose with graphite and some green vegetal notes. A nice, medium-weight palate up front but some coarse, hard tannins that may never soften. An enjoyable wine from a vintage that gave mixed results.
