Thursday, November 12, 2015 - Clear Crimson in the glass with a similar deep perfume to the '86 Meo Richebourg enjoyed alongside. More tannin and spice on the palate than the Richebourg but still powerful and amazingly complex mature, earth-laden strawberry, raspberry, and red cherry. Curious notes of sharp tomato and ketchup popped up later on. Tea leaves, chai spices, and drying cranberry present throughout. Terrific.
