Tuesday, April 17, 2007 - A mid-deepish gold. Big round, minerally nose with some baked apple fruit and a touch of sweetness. Oh, hello, big boy! This is big, powerful stuff on the palate. Rather blowsy with some clear residual sugar revealing itself in a caramel flavour that slightly dominates the finish. I think this needs more time. And indeed, the next day the remaining half of the bottle was much improved.
