Monday, September 14, 2009 - 10 Wines, 10 Varietals, Double Blind ("Chateau La Grange" - La Grange IL): Double blind tasting. Lots of spice on nose. Big fruit with lots of tannic structure. Some hesitation the fruit will outlive the structure, but think it will develop into something charming when more secondary. Also thought this was Pinot Noir, but thought it much younger than 1991 (1995?). I liked this better than most of the group tonight.
