Monday, May 8, 2006 - 1 bottle, Billy Crews' Dining Room, May '06, $250. Very dark in color, with no visible lightening at the edges. Closed on the nose immediately after pulling the cork -- opened considerably during the meal. Incredible aromas of ripe dark fruits (plum and casis) and very full-bodied on the palate. A finish that lasted in excess of one minute -- still tannic, but the tannins were velvety and sweet. A classic.
