Sunday, May 10, 2020 - Absolutely beautiful wine. Not showing its age at all. Served on Mothers Day with grilled New York strips. No browning at the edge. Throwing a lot of sediment. Benefitted from a 90 minute decant. Black cherry, blackberry and currant, mocha, anise aromas. Black cherry, blackberry and currant, pencil lead, mocha, anise and a hint of tobacco on the palate. Long smooth finish. Showing really well now, but not going anywhere in a hurry.
