Tasted blind.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, leather, plums and berries. Solid, fruit driven palate of boysenberries, raspberries and plums. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

My guess was 2006 Louis Jadot Grands-Echezeaux. Wrong!
