Saturday, March 17, 2012 - Light straw. Lemon zest and pear, even lime. Buttery and a little creamy but not too oaky - this seems just the amount of oak I can tolerate with ease and it is likely to diminish from here. Very sharp but refreshing with the intensity.
This has a few years to go yet but is very nice now. The definition and subtlety is striking. A beautiful wine.
