Wednesday, January 4, 2023 - Decanted one hour - fair amount of fine sediment. Good color - a bit bricky. Earthy and cassis with some vegetal/bell pepper on the nose. Medium-bodied, well integrated, complex, but that vegetal aspect continued as the wine unfolded, and was somewhat distracting. Old school style with hints of eucalyptus on the plush finish. Still an intriguing wine that was stored well but appears to be slightly on the downside.
