Monday, April 27, 1998 - Rich nose of spice and apples and pears. Thick and highly extracted. The spicy oak added nice complexity, ...but perhaps a bit too much oak? I still tasted the oak the next morning. An attention getter, but can get cumbersome in large amounts.
