This is one of the wines that was a real 'gotcha moments' early on in my wine career, and has always been a favourite. I hadn't had the wine in maybe 7 years now, and had one left in the collection and though at 10 years, time to say good bye. Huge, and funky, aromatics. Lots of jasmine, honeysuckle, earth, mineral, and fresh flower on the nose. The pallette was full bodied, unctuous and so complex. It's Roussanne and Chard, and their best.
