Thursday, April 15, 2010 - Tasted at a restaurant and was surprised. Dark color, clear, with a nice spicy, fruity nose. At first a lot of alcohol but mellowed out nicely. surprisingly sweet with a nice mix of spice, maybe black pepper. Would not be my first choice for a hearty dinner but will do very well as s nice after dinner wine maybe with dessert or out on the deck on a warm summer night. Somewhat surprised a the negative ratings.
