Sunday, January 31, 2021 - Decanted for 90 min, this was stunning. Supremely pure and focused blackcurrant with a sweet cassis edge to the fruit. Fine and elegant, but with a subtle power and minerality that gave this depth and complexity. Silky on the front palate, but with sooty tannins and solid backbone. I'd easily guess Pauillac instead of Napa.
